Franklin Shooting Critically Injures One, Prosecutor Says
Authorities investigating incident they said left two wounded.
Authorities are investigating a shooting outside of a Franklin Township restaurant that wounded two victims early Sunday morning, resulting in life-threatening injuries to one of them, according to the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office.
Somerset Prosecutor Geoffrey D. Soriano said the shooting took place outside of the restaurant at approximately 2:02 a.m. Sunday on Franklin Boulevard in the Somerset section of Franklin. Two victims were shot, according to police. One was a 31-year-old New Brunswick man who was treated and released from an area hospital, and the other was a 32-year-old Somerset man who is listed in critical condition at an area hospital, according to Soriano.
