‘I Hate Hamlet’ Closing Weekend
Where/When: There will be a special school-time performance on Thursday, May 19 at 10 a.m. as well as 8 p.m. performances on Friday and Saturday and a 2 p.m. performance on Sunday. All shows at the Bickford Theatre in Morris Township.
Why Go: Because you’ve been meaning to make it to the play all month, but know this is your last chance. Or because you hate Hamlet too!

Sustainable Morristown Green Building Expo
Where/When: From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the site of the proposed Morristown EcoCenter, on Thursday and Friday, May 19 and 20.
Why Go: Because exhibitors will highlight green building products and services, focusing on healthy living, organic and local food production, and sustainability.

What’s Cooking With Chef Cynthia Triolo
Where/When: From 1 to 3 p.m. at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum in Morris Township on Sunday, May 22.
Why Go: Because Triolo will focus on locally grown seasonal foods, recipes will be distributed and, most importantly, there will be a tasting.
Pricing: $20 for members, or $25 for non-members.
Warren Township Fishing Derby
Where/When: Saturday, May 21 at 11 a.m. at Dealaman Nature pond.
Why Go: To reel in a lesson in casting, and to listen to stories of the "one that got away!" Free hotdogs, burgers and hats will be available for all.

Boy Scout Car Wash
Where/When: Saturday, May 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Peapack Gladstone Bank parking lot in Warren.

Memorial Day Crafts
Where/When: Saturday, May 21 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Warren Township Library.
Why Go: To drop in, make a great craft and hang with library friends.

Improv Comedy Show
Where/When: Friday, May 20 at Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School at 7 p.m.
Why Go: To enjoy laughter and a zany night of improv while helping to send the Odyssey of the Mind team to the World Finals.
Pricing: Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children, and can be purchased at the door.
Step Up For The Arc Walk & 5K Run
Where/When: Saturday, May 21 at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Why Go: To "step up" and support The Arc of Somerset County help individuals with developmental disabilities. It's a day of fresh air and a great cause.
Pricing: Registration fees are $17 per runner, $15 per USATF runner, and $10 per walker. But fees are waived if you raise $50 or more.
To Kill a Mockingbird
Where/When: Friday and Saturday, May 20-21, at 7 p.m. at Hillsborough High School.
Why Go HHS students along with Atticus understand that, rather than being simply creatures of good or creatures of evil, most people have both good and bad qualities. Enjoy the show!

Beginning Orchids and Greenhouse Tour
Where/When: Saturday, May 21 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Duke Farms in Hillsborough.
Why Go: It's a chance to see more than 1,300 varieties of orchids and learn how to repot one of these amazing plants to bring home.
