Business Social to Feature Awards, Talks

The Hillsborough Economic and Business Development Commission’s 18th Business Social will be held at Royce Brook Golf Club on Hamilton Road in Hillsborough on Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m.
Speakers for the evening will include Hillsborough Construction Official John Fiedler, who will give tips on the permit process, and several mentors from SCORE who will discuss this non-profit organization’s free mentoring services for small businesses.
The evening will also consist of presentations of community service awards to Rick Nunn, owner of HAPI Auto Parts; Affinity Federal Credit Union; and Village ShopRite of Hillsborough. Past socials have generated 200-plus business professionals for networking.
