Ahoy Patch Fans! Today be th' day to take to the seas—or rivers.
That's right, me buckos, the sea farrin' in Hillsborough have a chance to sail away from port Tuesday. Lord (Commodore?) Stirling Park's Environmental Education Center calls all ships (canoes and kayaks) for a guided trip down th' river.
It's $75 doubloons to attend, and ye'll need to let them know yer' sailin' (908-766-2489) before Tuesday.

You Need to Know It’s for Moms: The Hillsborough Public Library hosts Monday Morning Moms, a program for parents and caregivers. The free session begins at 10 a.m., and children up to three years old can attend—toys will be available for the kids to play with.
You Need to Know About Friendship: A story time for children ages four through six will be held at the Hillsborough Public Library at 1 p.m. today. The topic is friendship and the aim is developing language skills. It’s free and requires no registration.
You Need to Know About Hawks: Lord Stirling Park’s Environmental Education Center hosts a hawk watch hike at 5 p.m. tonight. Participants can hike the trails with a naturalist in search of different kinds of hawks. The program is free and binoculars an comfortable shoes are recommended.
