Art, Music, Technology, All at Your Library
Books, computers, music and more come to the library this week.
Here’s what you need to know today:
- You Need to Know To Give You Input: The Board of Education wants to know what you think of its 2012-2013 budget—and invites residents to comment at its meeting, which is 7:30 p.m. tonight at Auten Road Intermediate School.
- You Need to Know About Art: The Hillsborough Public Library hosts learning adventures for children in grades kindergarten through second at 4 p.m. Tuesday. As with most library programs, you’ll need to RSVP, which you can do by calling the children’s desk at 908-369-2200, extension 14.
- You Need to Know About Books: The Friends of the Library host a book discussion at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Hillsborough Public Library. They’ll be discussing the Paris Wife by Paula McClain. Questions? Call the Adult Services Desk at 908-369-2200, extension 12 or 13.
- You Need to Know About Music: The Hillsborough Public Library brings Seasons, a Celtic and folk fusion group, to the West Wing at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
- You Need to Know About Computers: The Hillsborough Public Library offers computer courses in Word and Excel at 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Registration began two weeks ago, so you will need to call the library at 908-369-2200, extension 12 or 13 to see if spots are still available.
