Appliances Stolen from Construction Sites
Hillsborough Police report thefts, criminal mischief.
Hillsborough police are investigating the theft of appliances from new houses being built on French Drive.
The thefts were reported Feb. 25, and included items from three different sites under contruction. The total value of items taken is $3,700.
Police are also investigating the theft of copper pipe and tools, valued at $1,000 altogether, from a Millstone River Road residence sometime between Feb. 12 and Feb. 18.
Other police reports include:
- An Auten Road resident rpeorted four tires on a vehicle parked at the residence had been punctured sometime during the night of Feb. 22. The tires were valued at $400.
- Someone grabbed a GPS system and a passport, valued at $120, from an unlocked vehicle at Nelson's Corner Shopping Center on Feb. 19.
- CVS reported an unidentified man shoplifted items valued at $378 on Feb. 26. Details of the items taken was not available.
- A Valley Road resident reported the theft of four ornamental wrought iron sculptures, valued at $400, from the property on March 3.
