I always thought the gas petal made the car go faster. I never knew it was the width of the road. This internet thing is something else; you learn something new on it every day.
I myself will miss the smudges I always put in my underwear, when I hydroplane over that area of poor drainage there.

How about we save the money and apply it to the 206 bypass? That has been one disaster after another.

I don't really see the need to widen this section of road. Drainage? Now that would be nice, but if you want to widen a road, focus on 206 between Triangle & Brown.

I also am not sure what is wrong with the width of Amwell? Is it that they are adding shoulders but leaving the lanes the same width?
And I am confused between "This work is expected to take through the winter to complete", and "The work is scheduled to be completed by November". The former statement implies it would be done by spring time and the latter says it won't be done until the fall. I guess either way, it wiill take "through" winter to complete but will it also take "through summer" and also "through a good part of fall"?
