SIX ID CARE PHYSICIANS NAMED “TOP DOCS” BY NJ MONTHLY

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ – Six physicians practicing at ID Care have been named as “Top Docs” for 2011 in the Infectious Disease category by NJ Monthly magazine. The selection is made based on an independent survey of New Jersey physicians who were asked to name the doctor that he or she would want to treat him or herself or a family member.

Those earning the recognition by their peers in the state’s most influential lifestyle publication are:

            Dr. Donald T. Allegra, MD, FACP, FIDSA;

            Dr. Rohit Bhalla, DO

Dr. David J. Herman, MD, FACP;

Dr. Edward J. McManus, MD, FACP;

Dr. Ronald G. Nahass, MD, FACP, FIDSA;

Dr. Robert E. Segal, MD

The six doctors have been selected as six of the top physicians in the field of Infectious Disease in New Jersey. This is the eighth such recognition for Dr. Nahass, the fifth for Drs. Allegra, Herman, and McManus, and the initial recognition of Drs. Bhalla and Segal.

Drs. Allegra and McManus are located in the Randolph, NJ office of ID Care and Drs. Bhalla, Herman, and Nahass are located in the Hillsborough, NJ office. ID Care also has offices in Somerset, Old Bridge, West Long Branch, and Cedar Knolls, NJ

NJ Monthly annually researches all of the medical professionals in the state and has determined the “Top Doctors” practicing in 64 medical specialties. The research is done by an independent survey firm of Leflein Associates of Ringwood, New Jersey.

Drs. Allegra, Herman, Nahass, and McManus, were recently named Top Docs by U.S. News Media Group (publisher of U.S. News and World Report), in collaboration with Castle Connolly Medical, Ltd.
